Prof. Tsuyoshi Kawanami is a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Informatics, School of Science and Technology, Meiji University, Japan.
He received his Doctor of Engineering degree from Hokkaido University in 2003. Before joining Meiji University, he served as an Associate Professor at Kobe University.
His research focuses on energy-efficient thermal systems, including magnetocaloric heat pump technologies, thermal energy storage, and phase-change heat transfer.
He has authored numerous papers on caloric materials and devices, and currently leads the Energy Systems Laboratory at Meiji University, contributing to advancements in sustainable heating and cooling technologies.
