Prof. Jing-Feng Li is a Distinguished Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University, Guest Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at Tohoku University, also serves as a Deputy Director of Tsinghua University-Toyota Research Center. He obtained his MS and PhD degrees from Tohoku University in 1988 and 1991, respectively, and subsequently worked in industry for one year, then served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Tohoku University until joining Tsinghua University as a full professor in 2002. His current research focuses on thermoelectric materials, ferroelectric and piezoelectric ceramics, and MEMS technologies. Prof. Li has authored four books and published over 590 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as Science and Nature Materials, which have collectively received more than 40,000 citations, resulting in an H-index of 104. He has been invited to deliver more than 120 plenary, keynote, and invited lectures at international conferences, symposia, and workshops.
Prof. Li is a Foreign Fellow of Engineering Academy of Japan, an Academician of World Academy of Ceramics, and a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Materiomics and as Vice President of the Chinese Ceramic Society.
